The universal kayak yoke was specially designed to solve the problems of portaging kayaks. With their various cockpit sizes and general bulky shapes, kayaks can be a bear to portage. The 3" risers on this easy to install yoke give better visibilty than others we've tried. The semi curved pad system prevents the kayak from slipping off your shoulders during uphill or downhill portaging or when you're tired from paddling. The non-slip, non-marring 3-point attachments clamp firmly onto the cockpit combing without damaging your craft.
