More Poachers Caught!: Further Adventures of a Northwoods Game Warden
by Tom Chapin
A retired game warden from Minnesota relates tales of foolish, misguided, greedy, clever, daring, rebellious, angry, and just plain ignorant folks who attempt to illegally take the state's fish and animals. Depending on your point of view, you'll either be grateful for his determination, or regret his dilligence. Nevertheless, he's a good storyteller, and this second volume is a welcome addition in our collection of outdoor tales. A game warden needs the skills of a detective, psychologist, naturalist, philosopher and soldier. He must have a sense of humor, faith in humanity, good judgement, integrity, patience, endurance, and tact. If he's also a talented writer, he can educate as well.
