Backpacker's Pantry combined diced chicken, vegetables, mashed potatoes, and a bread crumb topping to make it a complete Thanksgiving dinner! Makes two 12 oz. servings. 14 grams of Protein per serving.
Ingredients: GRAVY (NONFAT MILK, MALTODEXTRIN, POTATO STARCH, SEA SALT, TORULA YEAST, BUTTER POWDER (BUTTER (CREAM, SALT, ANNATTO EXTRACT), NONFAT DRY MILK, BUTTERMILK, SODIUM CITRATE, CITRIC ACID, TOCOPHEROL (USED AS AN ANTI-OXIDANT), BETA CAROTENE (USED AS A COLOR)), SAVORY SOUP BASE (MALTODEXTRIN, SALT, AUTOLYZED YEAST EXTRACT, YEAST EXTRACT, ONION POWDER, SILICON DIOXIDE, TURMERIC EXTRACT (COLOR), SUNFLOWER OIL), DEXTROSE (FROM CORN), SUGAR, GLUTEN-FREE TAMARI SAUCE (TAMARI SAUCE (SOYBEANS, SALT), MALTODEXTRIN, SALT)), POTATOES, CHICKEN BREAST (COOKED, DICED AND FREEZE-DRIED), PANKO BREAD CRUMBS (WHEAT FLOUR, ORGANIC CANE SUGAR, SEA SALT, YEAST), CELERY, SWEET CORN.

Directions: Remove and discard enclosed oxygen absorber before beginning food preparation. Remove bread crumb packet and set aside. Add 2-1/2 cups (600 mL) of boiling water. Stir well. Seal and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Stir, sprinkle bread crumbs over top and serve. Rehydration time doubles every 5,000 feet of elevation gain. Our directions are set for 5,000 feet.
