Backpacker's Pantry created this dish full of all-natural chicken with white rice and blended vegetables in a hearty white chicken gravy. Makes four 12 oz. servings. Gluten free.
Ingredients: PRECOOKED LONG GRAIN WHITE RICE, SAUCE (NONFAT MILK, MALTODEXTRIN, POTATO STARCH, SALT, TORULA YEAST, SAVORY SOUP BASE (MALTODEXTRIN, SALT, AUTOLYZED YEAST EXTRACT, YEAST EXTRACT, ONION POWDER, SILICON DIOXIDE, TURMERIC EXTRACT (COLOR), SUNFLOWER OIL), DEXTROSE (FROM CORN), SUGAR, GLUTEN-FREE TAMARI SAUCE (TAMARI SAUCE (SOYBEANS, SALT), MALTODEXTRIN, SALT)), CHICKEN BREAST (COOKED, DICED AND FREEZE-DRIED), CARROTS, ONION, CELERY, BELL PEPPER, PARSLEY.
Allergens: MILK, SOYBEAN
Directions: Remove and discard enclosed oxygen absorber before beginning food preparation. In a large pot, boil 4 1/2cups (1,060 mL) of water. Turn off heat. Carefully, add contents of pouch to pot of boiling water and stir well. Cover and let sit for 20 minutes. Stir and serve. Makes Four 12 oz. Servings. Rehydration time doubles every 5000 feet of elevation gain. Our directions are set for 5000 feet.
