"Children and adults will love this beautifully illustrated book, full of fascinating tradition. They will feel a sense of pride in their very special rhinos and understand how important it is to protect those that are left." -Dr. Jane Goodall
Follow an Indonesian boy named Dedi into the steamy rainforests of Asia as he helps the rhinoceros and his wild friends uncover a hidden jungle secret. In this original tale, a young rhinoceros named Bulu loses his horn, but not his purpose. Mysteries lie deep in the rainforest. Help Dedi learn about the rhinoceros and his horn- the horn of a rhinoceros cures no ailments.
Animal doctor, author, and artist, Robin Radcliffe travels the world to help rhinoceroses. After college Robin and his twin brother Rolfe, also a docter, went to Africa where curiousity brought them face to face with a rhinoceros. Not many years later, Robin ventured into the jungles of Asia. It was there, in a remote corner of Sumatra, where Robin met Dedi Candra, doctor for the Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary. Robin and Dedi became friends and the idea of a children's book for the rhinos of the rainforest was born.
