Worth every penny! I really loved the Espresso paddle from Bending so I was a little nervous to try out the Java. Boy, it did not disappoint! The weight is nearly identical and the fit/finish/feel is the exact same, just like I remembered with the Espresso. Warm on my hands, comfortable and easy to hold for my week long trips to the bwca. I think the Java looks different than all other paddles on the market, which is what I like most about it. People stop and ask me about my paddle all the time. Definitely worth every penny spent.
