Standard Shipping: Delivery takes about 3-7 business days within the contiguous USA. Our Delivery Service Partners include: USPS, Fedex, and UPS. Please contact our Shipping Department if you have a preference in shipping service. Additional handling fees apply; see policy below.

Orders to AK or HI that require additional handling (e.g. oversized) will be charged the actual cost of shipping plus the handling fee. This cost will be calculated for your order at the time of processing, and you will be contacted to confirm these charges before your order will ship.

Express Shipping: Orders placed before 2pm Central Time will be processed the same day for express shipping. Express shipping utilizes FedEx Express delivery services. Express shipping is available Monday through Wednesday. Orders placed on Thursday will arrive on the following Monday. Express shipping is not available Friday through Sunday, as it takes two business days to ship.
Orders that require additional handling (see policy below) will be charged the actual cost of shipping plus the handling fee; this includes orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii. This cost will be applied to your order at the time of processing.

Saturday Delivery: Saturday Delivery is available upon request for deliveries within the contiguous USA. The cost for shipping is actual plus a $5 handling fee; this will be applied to your order at the time of processing. For this service, please contact our Shipping Department by 2pm CST.
Overnight Shipping: Overnight Shipping Service is available upon request for deliveries within the contiguous USA. The cost for shipping is actual plus a $5 handling fee; this will be applied to your order at the time of processing. For this service, please contact our Shipping Department by 2pm CST.
International Shipping: When an international order is ready for shipment, customers will be contacted by our Shipping Department with estimated shipping costs and delivery times. Customers will have the opportunity to select the best shipping option for their needs. The cost for shipping will be actual plus a $5 handling fee; this will be applied to your order at the time of processing.
On International orders, the recipient is responsible for payment of applicable duties, taxes and other fees. Delivery times are an estimate and not guaranteed by our Delivery Service Partners. Processing through Customs may take longer than expected depending on their volume of parcels. If your package has not arrived within 3 days of the estimated delivery time (per the provided tracking number), please contact our Shipping Department. Allow up to 8 business days for an investigation into the status of your package.
Additional Handling Fees: A few of our products have special packing needs or are larger sized and require additional handling by our Delivery Service Partners. These fees cover the extra time and materials it takes to ensure your package is delivered in good condition. Some fees are applied upon processing and will be additional to your originally calculated shipping fees.
Additional Handling Fees are applied as follows:
- $19.95 for most axes, truck racks, and products with a Package Surface Area that is greater than 100 sq. in.
- $29.95 for Barrels and paddles
- $5 for Alaska and Hawaii (applied at processing)
- Actual cost of shipping plus $5 for Overnight, Saturday Delivery, and International Shipping (applied at processing)
Freight Forward Requirements:
Customers who choose to ship through third parties, such as Freight Forward Companies, must pay with a verified PayPal account. Other forms of payment will not be accepted, and orders will automatically be cancelled. Piragis Northwoods Company will not be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged products after the initial delivery to the address provided on the sales order.
PayPal Transactions must meet the following requirements:
• The PayPal customer must have a verified account.
• The package will only be shipped to the address on the PayPal Transaction Detail page.
Package Insurance: We may request a Delivery Confirmation on packages valued $350 and greater. For insurance, these packages may require a signature for release. It is the customer’s responsibility to be available for delivery.
Customers may request that a signature be required for delivery on any package. For this service, please contact our Shipping Department.
Tracking Packages: After processing, shipment confirmations are emailed with a link to access the tracking. To receive a shipment confirmation, customers must provide a valid email address at the time of ordering.
If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered, but you can't find it:
Within 36 hours of expected delivery--
• Verify the shipping address
• Look for a notice of attempted delivery
• Look around the delivery location for your package; check out-buildings, the end of your driveway, in the bushes, in-between doors, etc.
• See if someone else accepted the delivery
• Some packages travel through multiple carriers; check your mailbox or wherever else you receive mail.
o Wait 36 hours - in rare cases packages may say delivered up to 36 hours prior to arrival
After concluding that your package was not delivered, please contact our Shipping Department. Allow up to 8 business days for an investigation.
Undeliverable Packages: Packages returned to us as “undeliverable” will be issued a refund (excluding shipping charges). You will be notified by our Shipping Department of the return. If you would still like to purchase items that were undeliverable, you are welcome to place a new order. Please contact our Shipping Department to ensure a valid shipping address is issued.
Additional shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility if the package is deemed undeliverable at no fault of the company. Examples include (but are not limited to): supplied the incorrect or out-of-date address, supplied the incorrect address format, failed delivery attempts made, refused by recipient. Please contact our Shipping Department if you feel there has been an error.
Previous Fraudulent Order History:
Piragis Northwoods Company may refuse to accept any order if fraudulent activity is suspected. We may refuse to process any subsequent order from a customer who has a history of placing fraudulent orders. We may refuse any order that relates to a previous credit card dispute.
Mail Orders: Use our order form (link) or send a note with the following information:
• Your contact information: name, billing and shipping address, phone number
• Item name, item number, size, color, price
• Form of payment including the shipping charges
• MN residents must include 7.375% sales tax
Orders with incomplete contact information will not be processed.
