Frost River Lewis & Clark Portage Pack
Meriwether Lewis and William Clark first snaked their way across the continent in 1803-04. Amazingly all expedition members survived the grueling trek...A testimony to the quality leadership of these two men. If this pack were around they certainly would have requisitioned a whole slug of them. This massive box style canoe pack is built of water resistant waxed canvas. Brass buckle closures keep the expandable flap closed. Includes a handy axe pocket and leather cinch straps.
Waxed cotton canvas: This rugged cotton canvas is impregnated with a generations-old formula of waxes. Rain simply beads up and runs off while the cotton allows the bag to "breathe." The fabric is not oily and remains odorless, and the wax won't wick into other fabrics.
