sturdy yoke for your solo canoe Met the guy who makes these. Committed, conscience and just good people. This yoke is one of the best universal yokes. Definitely as sturdy as any. I have for 27 years just portaged my Mad River Independence by putting the cane seat on my shoulders and just lifting the bow or attaching my thwart pack behind me. This yoke allows me to carry balanced and lifts canoe almost a foot higher. Way better view!
