Sometimes you have to go far, far away to appreciate the world around you.

Rowan is going with Mom and Mama on his first camping trip. He’s so excited! There will be all sorts of wildlife—maybe even a bear or a moose.

But the family is canoe camping, which means carrying all their supplies and paddling from place to place. Before long, Rowan is tired and hungry, itchy from mosquito bites, and downright grumpy. In fact, he wants to go home.
